Isabel has named the new baby Tony Angel (or Toni Angel).
I’ve been so very sick (and I wasn’t with Isabel), that I think this
one will be a boy. Tony Angel is due January 24, 2003.
I thought Isabel was doing okay with the weaning, but
she’s asking to nurse more and more often. We make due with sitting in
the nursing chair and cuddling. I let her pat, stroke, and hug my
Me: “No more nursing”
Isabel: “No more nursee. Sad.”
Isabel recently surprised me by counting to 12. I was thinking that we needed to work on 4. Isabel knows what 1 is, and 2 is, and I think she understands 3. After that she’s just reciting the sounds. But hey! that’s a big deal!
Then she sang the alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star all the way through. I was so thrilled that we raced down the hallway to tell Daddy. She got all shy in front of him and wouldn’t do it again.
She’s going to be moving up to Preschool 1 from Toddlers at the end of the month. Pretty exciting, and she’ll be with Miles, the love of her life, again.
Isabel’s favorite letter is doubleB. I don’t have a clue where that came from.
