On Friday, I rested, and on Saturday, I did some chores. We did not go to a 4th of July party, so we had the day to do chores and go swimming.
Oh, Sunday, another day to sleep in. :contemplative: I got up and made myself oatmeal. Pulguito had asked for pancakes, but he wasn’t ready to eat yet, so I had a nice, solitary breakfast. Then on to pancakes.
I make the best pancakes, if I do say so myself. We only had a little maple syrup, so I let the kids have it. I’m a good mommy.
A day off! I could really use one. The kids are home, and DH is home working on his garage remodel.
It’s a beautiful day, not too hot, and the sky is a beautiful, clear blue.
I took the kids to their swim lessons this morning. Usually, daycare takes them.
And now, I am relaxing with my iced coffee and playing Farm Town.
This morning, when I woke Chunguita up, she was still for a bit. My heart just about stopped, but then she rolled over and woke up. I went to make her breakfast, but before I could get to the kitchen, I had to stop, lean against the wall, put my head in my hands, and take several deep breathes. I was starting to hyperventilate and get all panicky.
Then I took the puppers out to the poop area, where Lily peed and got a treat. While I was waiting for Bruno to finish drinking water, so he could go, Lily peed, again, for another treat. She’s a smart girl, saving a bit of urine for another treat.
